TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Jorie Cakes, LLC website and/or products and services by the same. You agree to the following terms upon payment:
PAYMENT POLICY
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, PayPal and Credit Card using a secure online payment form that I will provide for you. Payments are subject to Florida sales tax and applicable 3.5% transaction fees for credit cards.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS (Different policy for Weddings, inquire for details)
Though cancellations are not ideal, I acknowledge they happen. Cancellations within 72 hours of scheduled pickup/delivery time may result in additional fees. Refunds are subject to the discretion of Jorie Cakes, LLC.
To cancel your order or request a refund, please contact Jorie at joriejolly@gmail.com or (614)-580-5669 as soon as possible.
ORDER CHANGES
Changes to your order may be made on an individual basis. If you’d like to change your order, please do not hesitate to contact Jorie. Though depending on the time of change, the modifications may not be feasible. Changes will be subject to additional fees, even if decreasing the order size.
RISK OF DAMAGE
Jorie Cakes, LLC is not responsible for damage that may occur to an order after pickup or delivery (i.e. - once the order leaves the care of representatives of Jorie Cakes, LLC). All products are made with care and caution regarding transportation, storage, and weather conditions that may affect quality, and instructions are given verbally and/or written upon each order transaction. If your product is damaged, please send your feedback and concern. There is no guarantee for repairs or exchanges. Additional product is subject to additional fees.
DELIVERY POLICY
Jorie Cakes offers a delivery service for a fee. Customers must ensure a person is available to receive a delivery during the time slot chosen, within 20 minutes of agreed upon time, or the order is subject to a late fee. Jorie Cakes, LLC will deliver and set up according to pre-arranged standards. Under some circumstances, Jorie Cakes, LLC will use proper judgement to set up the products in the best possible display, which may mean altering prior plans.
Once a product is delivered, Jorie Cakes releases all responsibility for the condition of the product. Jorie Cakes will not be held responsible for the condition of an order after the cake has been received by the venue or customer.
ALLERGENS
All baked goods contain wheat, eggs and dairy. Traces of soy and nuts may be present due to food being prepared in a kitchen where those ingredients are present. Please communicate any allergens or sensitivity when placing your order, so that I may take extra precautions, however cross contamination can occur.
INEDIBLE OBJECT DISCLOSURE
Fresh flowers used for decoration are not a food product and may contain pesticides, dirt, insects or other contaminants. Faux flowers can be used instead by request.
Toppers may contain inedible substances such as toothpicks, skewers, hot/super glue, and other materials. Please do not consume and remove before serving.
Jorie Cakes, LLC will communicate any inedible products to the customer and is not liable for any related illness or injury.
